About Creative Beginnings Pre-School, Kindergarten & Day Care

Purpose

We strive to give the young child the opportunity to develop mentally, emotionally, physically and socially. Through directed play in our school setting, the child is able to learn and develop skills at his or her own rate.

Philosophy

Creative Beginnings uses discovery, creativity and positive reinforcement to teach children. We provide the materials and creative experiences necessary to guide the child in his or her discovery. Concepts are mastered and retained at a higher rate as the child learns thorough this process.

Positive reinforcement is stressed so that the child feels good about him or herself and the learning process. Creative Beginnings strives to make each child's first educational experience positive, so that s/he may "Discover the Magic of Learning!"

Pre-School Goals

Goals For Children Ages Two and Three Are:

  • to create a positive beginning to the educational experience.
  • to help the child adjust to the first time separation from his family.
  • to provide the materials and experiences necessary to promote.
the child's mental, emotional, physical and social growth.
  • to reinforce positive feelings and values about education.
  • to prepare the child to enter kindergarten.
