She employed creative play based systems that made doing exercises fun and engaging for both our child and us. We were able to incorporate the taught skills into our every day lives as well as focused sessions at home.
She accomplished this by showing us how to utilize new skills in multiple different spaces. We met at her office, a local park, and our home so we could practice new skills in varied settings. As our kid has challenges with staying focused and holding still, this made it much easier to translate into our home lives, and made it much more fun for our child.
